Dr. Dinesh Badyal, Co-Director, FRI, Ludhiana delivered prestigious Prof. G. Achari oration, at 49th Annual Conference of Indian Pharmacological Society held at PGI, Chandigarh in October, 2016. Dr. Badyal was invited to deliver this oration as the Eminent Pharmacologist in India based on his work in pharmacology education and research. In his oration talk Dr. Badyal focused on â€œPharmacology education In India: Challenges & relevanceâ€ and added that the technological advancements and fast progress in new medicine discovery need to be integrated for further progress of pharmacology education and research.
